“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1 NIV

Intimidation is when a person is threatening to us, it could be a situation, but its mostly something we experience when someone causes us to be afraid because of something they may do. Intimidation is also a behavior that is meant to cause us fear, like menacing, coercion, terrorizing, or assault.

In the event that someone attempts to intimidate you, like a person bent on evil, a road rage driver, an ex, whoever, turn toward the Lord as the verse states. The Lord is your light because He knows better so go to Him. He’s your salvation, no one can take Heaven away from you, and the Lord is your safe stronghold.

Even in the face of violence we can trust the Lord for the outcome. Romans 8:18 states “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us” (NIV) and Jesus stated “The one who believes in me will live, even though they die” (John 11:25 NIV).

Fortunately intimidation is kind of an extreme behavior and its something most people rarely face, but know that if you ever do the Lord is still with you!
