Let’s be honest, some days just don’t go as planned. On some days nothing seems to go right and everything seems to fight against us. Then there are those days that sideswipe us with totally unexpected bad news or even a life-altering traumatic accident. Life, this side of Heaven, is not always what we may want, but the good news is that tomorrow’s a new day.

The good thing is that from God’s perspective each morning brings us a new day with new compassion from our Lord. That means that you can put your bad day to rest and put your hope in a new day. Your new day is full of God’s unused compassion for you should you stumble or mess up. You can know that in your new day God’s faithfulness is full and ready to get you back on track.

When things start wearing on you and you begin to second guess yourself at home or at work, switch your thinking to a day by day approach. Don’t worry about the big picture or far into the future, when you can know that tomorrow is a new day.
