Whatever God puts on your heart, know that the secret of success is His Spirit blessing your efforts. Our day by day activities are not governed by the miraculous but by our efforts. We may pray, “Lord give us our daily bread” but we don’t hold out our hands waiting for it to fall out of the sky. We make an effort to earn money so we can go to the grocery store to purchase a loaf of bread.

We can do what we need to do with God’s strength and that includes the little things, too. In our youth we have big dreams but in our old age the challenge can be moving from one side of the house to the other. Whatever our need, God’s strength is available to help.

We must exercise our faith in God to bring success to our tasks by beginning it. It is not enough to simply know that God will help, we must move forward in faith. It is the Spirit of God that blesses our efforts in whatever attempts we may make toward an accomplishment or a performance. Success in any lines, personal or professional, is most assuredly ours when it’s the union of God’s strength and our efforts.
